Mahindra BE6 Makes History on Formula E Track in London
Mahindra is taking Indian electric mobility to new global heights. The all-new Mahindra BE6 has officially become the first Made-in-India electric SUV to drive on the renowned Formula E track in London, marking a significant milestone for Indian automotive engineering and EV technology.

The Mahindra BE6 was seen doing laps at the London E-Prix, a premier event in the Formula E calendar. This isn't just a publicity stunt, but it signals Mahindra’s serious commitment to the future of electric mobility and its growing footprint in international motorsports.
Pratap Bose, Chief Design and Creative Officer at Mahindra, took to social media to share the moment, stating, “So cool to see the BE6 on the track at the London Formula-e races this weekend! Race to Road was the philosophy when we were designing this beauty!”
Mahindra BE6: Electric SUV with Power and Precision
The Mahindra BE6 is part of the brand’s lineup of all-electric SUVs. Built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, the BE6 offers impressive performance combined with futuristic design and efficiency. Priced at ₹18.90 Lakh to ₹26.90 Lakh, it comes in two battery configurations:
59 kWh Battery Pack

79 kWh Battery Pack
- Power: 281 bhp
- Torque: 380 Nm
- Range: 683 km (MIDC)
The SUV is equipped with multiple driving modes, including a Boost Mode for a sportier and more dynamic driving experience. In addition, its fast-charging capabilities allow the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a DC fast charger.
New Variant: BE6 Pack Three Select
To further expand the lineup, Mahindra has introduced a new variant—Pack Three Select—which features the larger 79 kWh battery and is designed to offer premium features and extended range, catering to long-distance drivers and EV enthusiasts.
