Maruti Suzuki's June price revision has officially come into effect, and the brand's first electric SUV, the e Vitara, has emerged as the most affected model in the lineup. The electric SUV is now dearer by up to Rs 30,000, making it the biggest price increase across Maruti's portfolio.

The revised prices came into effect on June 14, 2026, as part of the company's previously announced price hike across multiple models.

e Vitara Sees The Highest Price Increase

While most Maruti models have received price hikes ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000, the e Vitara has witnessed the largest revision of up to Rs 30,000. Following the hike, the electric SUV's ex-showroom price now ranges between Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh, depending on the variant.

The Invicto MPV is the second-most affected model, with prices increasing by up to Rs 25,000.

Why Has Maruti Increased Prices?

Maruti Suzuki says the decision has been taken due to rising input costs and ongoing inflationary pressures. The company stated that while it continues to absorb a portion of the increased expenses, some of the additional costs have been passed on to customers through revised prices.

The move is not unique to Maruti Suzuki. Several other manufacturers, including Hyundai, Kia and Tata Motors, have also announced price revisions in recent months, citing similar reasons.
