Design, Interior and Technology
Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara:
- The e-Vitara boasts the signature Nexa “Crafted Futurism” design philosophy, with a bold stance, aerodynamic sculpting, matrix LED DRLs, LED projector headlights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The front fascia and smooth rear profile highlights a futuristic yet practical design approach.
- The cabin features a dual-screen digital setup, combining a 10.1-inch infotainment system with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster on a twin-deck floating console.
- Comfort-focused features include ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, and multiple connectivity options. It also features ambient lighting, sunroof with fixed glass, and wireless charger.
- The SUV includes seven airbags, all-disc brakes, an electronic parking brake, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and collision mitigation features.
Kia Carens Clavis EV:
- Digital tiger face grille, ICE Cube LED headlamps & fog lamps, connected Star Map LED DRLs and taillamps
- Dual panoramic displays (24.6-inch total) and 8-speaker Bose audio system
- Level 2 ADAS with 20 safety features, smart cruise control & lane keep assist, 6 airbags
- 360° camera with blind spot detection, electronic parking brake with auto hold
Verdict: When comparing the interiors of the two EVs, one clearly wins. Kia Carens Clavis EV is a 7-seater and with so much space inside that you don’t feel any discomfort at all. On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara gives a cramped feeling and the seating posture isn’t ideal.

Final Verdict
Maruti Suzuki has been exporting the e-Vitara globally and have had an okay response. It is not a bad car, it just lacks all the things that make the Grand Vitara such a good option for the Indian market. The BaaS option makes this significantly cheaper than Kia.e
For daily use, Kia Carens Clavis EV is great, especially for family road-trips. The family-oriented nature of the EV makes it a desirable option for a large segment of the Indian market.
Ultimately, the choice is yours. One is a family SUV with 7-seat orientation, while the other is a more sporty SUV, make for quicker runs.
