Tata Motors is all set to launch the 2026 Tata Tiago on 28th May 2026. Ahead of its official launch the car has been spied completely undisguised in Mumbai, during TVC shoot. Although, both the cars have been revealed through teasers but still let's take a closer look at these spy shots.
2026 Tata Tiago EV: Exterior

Starting with exterior updates, the biggest change is at the front, the grille has been completely body coloured with that Tata logo sitting in the middle as usual. These get sharper LED headlamps with integrated DRLs. Moving down, you'll notice a redesigned bumper with vertical airdams on the side. On the side, overall silhouette remains the same except for those new aero design alloy wheel flanked by those chunky blacked-out wheel arches. Apart from this, the front door now boasts the 'Tata ev' badging, replacing the old 'ev' badge. Meanwhile, the rear profile gets a new connected LED taillamp setup along with the logo in the middle. The tailgate gets Tiago EV lettering at the bottom. Alongside, the bumpers seem to be new with those vertical reflectors.

Stepping inside, the cabins received a significant overhaul with a new dual-tone scheme. The Tiago EV now gets a new digital driver's display along with that floating infotainment. Additionally, it now gets a new two-spoke steering wheel with Tata EV badging. Apart from this, the interiors receive new fabric upholstery, including the seats. Although the brand remains tight-lipped about any details, we can expect a 360-degree camera, six airbags, rear AC vents, Type-C fast charging, wireless charging pads and much more.
Powertrains
The Tata Tiago EV currently offers 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery pack options, which belt out 250km and 315km respectively on a single charge. However, it is likely to get an upgrade with a bigger setup similar to the Punch EV.
