Tesla has quietly revised the pricing of their entry level Model Y Premium RWD variant, which now starts at Rs 50.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the brand has discontinued the Long Range Premium RWD variant, which was priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tesla Model Y
The Tesla Model Y is now available in two variants in India: Premium RWD and L Premium AWD. Meanwhile, the long-range Premium RWD variant has been discontinued from the lineup. The entry-level variant Premium RWD now costs Rs 50.89 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the six-seater L Premium AWD variant comes at a price tag of Rs 61.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
In the 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium RWD, you can choose between an all-black and a Zen Grey interior theme. Moreover, in terms of equipment, it comes loaded with a 16-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 8-inch touchscreens for rear passengers.
While Tesla has not disclosed the complete powertrain specifications of the India-spec Model Y, the SUV is offered internationally with a 64kWh battery pack paired with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 299hp. This setup enables the Model Y to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 5.9 seconds, while the top speed is rated at 201km/h. The EV also supports fast charging, with Tesla claiming that a 175kW DC fast charger can add up to 238km of range in just 15 minutes. For the Indian market, Tesla has only revealed the claimed driving range figures, with the entry-level Premium RWD offering up to 500km on a full charge, while the range-topping Model Y L Premium AWD delivers a claimed range of up to 681km.
