The brand showcased the VF6 and the VF7 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 (previously called the Auto Expo). They previously announced the pre-bookings for both the models which started on 15th July, 2025 .Now, they have officially opened their first showroom in India in Surat, Gujarat on Sunday. The showroom features the company’s electric SUV variants VF6 and VF7 , both of which will be launched as right-hand drive variants for the first time.VinFast released a statement that said, “ The vehicles will be locally assembled at VinFast's upcoming factory at Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu , reinforcing the company's long-term commitment to India as a strategic market and future hub for electric vehicle production. ” Additionally, VinFast plans on opening 35 showrooms in India across 27 cities by the end of 2025.Located in Surat’s Piplod area, the showroom will feature the upcoming VF6 and VF7, VinFast’s flagship electric SUVs. Booking for both start at ₹21,000 , which is fully refundable.VinFast’s Asia CEO Pham Sanh Chau made a statement, “ The first VinFast Showroom in Surat is a symbol of our deep commitment to India. We are excited to bring the VinFast experience closer to Indian consumers. With this dealership in Gujarat, we aim to offer not just electric vehicles, but a complete ownership journey built on quality trust and service excellence. ”The company has also formed partnerships with RoadGrip, myTVS, and Global Assure to provide charging infrastructure and after-sales services across India. The company has also joined hands with BatX Energies to promote battery recycling and establish a circular battery value chain , reinforcing its commitment to establish sustainable innovation in India.VF7 - The flagship e-SUVIt boasts a sleek, coupe-inspired design, featuring sharp lines and striking LED light bars front and rear, a result of collaboration with Italian design house Torino Design.Globally available in Eco and Plus trims, the Eco offers 174 PS / 250 Nm (FWD) and a 75.3 kWh battery for an estimated 450 km WLTP range. The Plus variant escalates performance with 349 PS / 500 Nm and All-Wheel Drive (AWD).Advanced features like a large touchscreen, digital driver display, ADAS, panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting are anticipated.VF6 - Family-Oriented electric SUVThe VF 6 is a compact electric SUV, measuring approximately 4.3 meters .Designed for city commuting and family journeys, it's set to vie with upcoming electric compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, and Mahindra BE 6.Both Eco and Plus variants are exclusively FWD. The Eco provides 174 PS / 250 Nm with a 59.6 kWh battery (approx. 399 km range ), while the Plus boosts power to 201 PS / 250 Nm from the same 59.6 kWh battery (approx. 381 km range ).Interior highlights include a 12.9-inch infotainment screen , connected car technology, a minimalist dashboard, and driver assist like lane-keep assistance and adaptive cruise control.
