One of the biggest reasons why many buyers hesitate to switch to an electric car is the high upfront cost. Since the battery is the most expensive component in an EV, manufacturers have started introducing Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programs to make ownership more affordable. Under this model, buyers purchase the vehicle without the battery cost included and pay separately through a usage-based or subscription plan. This significantly lowers the initial purchase price. So, if you're eying an EV with the BaaS scheme, we've got you covered. In this article, we'll discuss the cheapest EVs with the Baas scheme in India.
