Hyundai Motor India has revised the pricing of select variants of the Creta Electric, making the EV slightly more expensive for prospective buyers. The latest revision comes just after the brand announced a price hike for its whole lineup, effective June 1,2026 and is in line with the broader trend of automakers increasing prices amid rising input costs and operational expenses.
The price hike does not apply uniformly across the entire range. Instead, Hyundai has increased prices of specific variants, while the entry-level versions continue to retain their existing price tags. Although the revisions are not substantial enough to alter Creta Electric's positioning in the market, they do increase the gap between certain variants and their rivals.
According to the updated price list, select variants of the Creta Electric have become dearer by Rs. 600. While the increase is marginal, it affects multiple trims across both battery pack options.
The Rs. 600 price increase applies to the following variants:
- Executive 42kWh
- Premium 42kWh Dual-Tone
- Premium 42kWh HC
- Premium 42kWh HC Dual-Tone
- Excellence 42kWh
- Excellence Knight Edition 42kWh
- Excellence 42kWh Dual-Tone
- Smart (O) Long Range 51.4kWh
- Excellence Knight Edition 42kWh Dual-Tone
The remaining variants continue to be offered at their existing prices.
Battery Pack and Range
The Hyundai Creta Electric is available with two battery pack options. The standard model is equipped with a 42kWh battery pack, while buyers looking for more range can opt for the larger 51.4kWh battery.
Hyundai claims a driving range of up to 390km on a single charge for the 42kWh version. Meanwhile, the larger 51.4kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of up to 470km. Apart from this, Creta Electric supports 100kW DC fast charging, which can juice up the battery from 10-80% in just 58minutes. While using an 11kW AC home charger, it takes 5 hours to go from 10 to 100%.

The cabin closely resembles the standard Creta, featuring twin 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation, dual-zone climate control, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, auto-dimming IRVM, voice commands, and Hyundai's Bluelink connected car technology. Unique touches include a Morse code-inspired 'H' logo on the steering wheel, a steering-mounted shift-by-wire stalk, and a rotary dial for selecting Eco, Normal and Sport drive modes. The EV also offers advanced features such as single-pedal driving (i-Pedal), Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, in-car payment support for charging stations, and a dedicated charging socket below the rear seats.
