JSW MG Motor India is gearing up to expand its electric vehicle portfolio in India with the launch of two premium models—the MG Cyberster electric roadster and the MG M9 electric luxury MPV. These models will be available through MG Select dealerships in major cities. Pre-bookings for both vehicles have officially begun for a token amount of ₹51,000, and deliveries are expected to start in Q2 2025.
MG Cyberster: India’s first electric roadster
The MG Cyberster is set to make a bold statement in India as the fastest MG roadster ever. This two-door convertible comes with striking scissor doors and 20-inch alloy wheels, exuding a sporty and futuristic appeal. Expected price is Rs. 80 Lakh.
Performance & range
The Cyberster is powered by a dual-motor setup, producing 510 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. It features a 77 kWh battery pack, promising a range of around 500 km on a single charge. The car recently set a speed record at Sambhar Salt Lake, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, highlighting its high-performance credentials.
MG M9: Luxury MPV with an electric touch
The MG M9 is a luxury electric MPV designed for those who prefer comfort and space. Targeted at chauffeur-driven buyers, it offers a roomy and premium cabin with multiple high-end features. Expected price is Rs. 65 Lakh.

The MG M9 is equipped with a 90 kWh battery, delivering a range of 430 km per charge. It is powered by a 240 bhp electric motor with 350 Nm of torque. Inside, the MPV boasts features like multi-zone climate control, ventilated massage seats, a 12-speaker premium audio system, ambient lighting, Level-2 ADAS, and more. The powered sliding doors enhance convenience for passengers, ensuring easy access.
Availability & launch timeline
MG Cyberster and M9 will be introduced in 13 major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. MG has yet to reveal official pricing, but both models are expected to be competitively priced in their respective segments.
