Beginning in the high-altitude deserts of Ladakh and ending at the southernmost tip of mainland India, the MG Windsor showcased its ability to handle drastic climatic shifts, steep gradients, and a wide variety of road conditions. Covering everything from arid mountainous stretches to lush tropical highways, the vehicle demonstrated its core strengths: reliability, real-world range capability, structural durability, and consistent performance.One of the most compelling aspects of the feat was the use of just 20 charging stops across the entire 3,757 km distance. This challenges common misconceptions surrounding long-distance EV travel and range anxiety. The charging route was planned and executed using the e-Hub by MG app, a digital platform that connects EV users with more than 13,000 public charging points across India through integrations with 36 leading charge-point operators.The seamless support offered by the charging network reinforced the growing strength of India’s EV ecosystem. From fast-charging stations located in remote northern terrains to well-connected hubs along major national highways, the infrastructure enabled a smooth and efficient cross-country journey.
