MG is preparing to strengthen its EV portfolio with two new models – the Wuling Binguo EV hatchback and the Bingo SUV (Binguo Plus EV) . These rebadged versions of Chinese models under the SAIC-GM-Wuling collaboration will directly take on Tata’s popular EVs – Tiago.ev and Punch.ev.Last year in June, MG Motor India filed a patent for the Binguo EV in India but there has been no further news on the vehicle since. Details were scarce and the vehicle was not seen testing in India. However, now for the first time, the Wuling Binguo EV has been spotted in Mumbai, parked next to another Wuling SUV in an underground JSW parking lot.Wuling Binguo EV (Hatchback)The Binguo EV is a sub-4m electric hatchback with chic, curvy styling and pastel color options such as Milk Tea, Galaxy Blue, and Mousse Green. It sits between MG’s Comet EV and Windsor EV in positioning.Design & Dimensions: The hatchback features LED headlights with integrated DRLs, LED tail lights, 15-inch wheels, and a dual-tone rear profile. Dimensionally, it measures 3,950 mm long, 1,708 mm wide, 1,580 mm tall, with a 2,560 mm wheelbase.
