Tata Motors has officially launched the 2026 Tiago EV at an starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated electric hatchback happens to be one of the most affordable in electric segment. The updated hatchback received significant updates in terms of design, interiors, safety and features. Without delaying it further, let's get into the details.
Pricing
The new Tiago EV starts at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top spec Creative+. However, to make it more affordable, Tata is also offering the Tiago EV with the BaaS scheme, bringing the starting price down to Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom) along with battery rental charges of Rs 2.6 per kilometre.

The front fascia has been tweaked a bit with slimmer LED headlamps. Although now the front grille is body coloured along with a Tata logo in the middle. At the bottom, the front bumper has been redesigned with smaller vertical openings. On the edge, it now gets two vertical airdams for a more aggressive look. Moving to the side, the overall silhouette remains the same, except for those new dual-tone aero alloys flanked by chunky blacked-out wheel arches. Apart from this, the 'EV' badging has been replaced by 'Tata EV' on the front doors. Following the trend, the rear now gets a connected LED light bar with 'Tiago EV' lettering on the tailgate. Meanwhile, the rear bumper has also been redesigned and gets a black treatment with the reverse lamp at the bottom. One more noticeable addition is those vertical slacked reflectors on both sides.
2026 Tata Tiago EV: Interiors
Stepping inside, the dashboard has been redesigned along with those fabric inserts. Not just this, it has got new features which include a new floating infotainment, digital cluster, rotary drive selector, dual wireless charging pads, Rear AC vents, cruise control, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and 360-degree camera. Moreover, it also gets 37 connected car features along with segment first Built in bluetooth connectivity.
2026 Tata Tiago EV: Powertrain
At the heart, the Tiago EV continues with the same setup. This hatchback comes with two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh, which give out a claimed range of up to 315km.
