Ola Electric has witnessed a major dip in its market share for April 2025, falling behind TVS Motor for the first time. The company saw a sharp 42% year-on-year decline in sales, delivering just 19,709 electric scooters, which brought its market share down to 21.46%.In comparison, TVS Motor edged ahead with a marginally higher share of 21.5%, thanks to its steady EV sales performance led by the iQube range. Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto and Ather Energy also registered growth, contributing to Ola’s slipping position in the electric two-wheeler segment. The drop comes amid ongoing regulatory scrutiny faced by Ola Electric over data discrepancies and operational concerns, which have further impacted its performance and added to its financial pressures. This shift in rankings highlights increasing competition in India’s EV space, as brands continue to expand their offerings and market reach.
