TVS has officially announced the launch of a new electric scooter, scheduled for 28th August 2025. The new electric scooter is expected to be called the Orbiter, which was recently trademarked by TVS in India. The launch invite shows a covered vehicle with the letter ‘O’ behind it, hinting at the possible name.The new electric scooter is expected to be positioned below the TVS iQube and will likely be priced below the ₹1 Lakh mark. This new model will take on the lower variants of the Bajaj Chetak and Ola S1 X.TVS has also patented the design of a new electric scooter in Indonesia and the sketches reveal a premium-looking electric scooter. Although unconfirmed, this could be the same design for the new Orbiter scooter. The vehicle patent features sleek styling, larger wheels, and a swingarm-mounted motor.TVS iQubeCurrently, TVS iQube is available in several variants, ranging from ₹1.09 Lakh up to ₹1.62 Lakh, offering a range up to 212 km and a top speed of 82 kmph.Key features -Comfortable and practical design: The iQube has a conventional, non-flashy design that appeals to a wide audience. It features a low-set battery for better stability and a spacious, comfortable seat.Advanced connectivity: The higher-end variants come with the "SmartXonnect" system, which includes features like turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, geo-fencing, and live vehicle tracking.
