Ultraviolette has an announcement scheduled for today, 22 October 2026, but it has not said what it will show. The teaser on its website reads "A Quantum Industry Leap", calls the moment a defining leap for the company and a shift for the industry, and carries a live-stream link. It does not say whether the product is a motorcycle, a scooter or a technology platform. Listing portals tag an "X47 Venom" for today, but Ultraviolette has not confirmed that name, a price or any specification.
What Ultraviolette Has Actually Teased
As of this morning, the teaser is a single banner on Ultraviolette's homepage. It carries a date, two lines of copy and a Watch Live button. In what we reviewed, there is no product image, name or specification attached to it.
| Detail | What the teaser says |

The "X47 Venom" Listing: Why We Treat It as Unverified
Several auto listing portals show an "Ultraviolette X47 Venom" with an expected launch date of 22 October 2026. We have not found any statement from Ultraviolette that uses the name.
The estimates do not agree with each other. One portal shows ₹4.70 lakh and another shows ₹2.60 lakh, a gap of ₹2.10 lakh. One of the listing pages itself notes that Ultraviolette has not disclosed battery capacity, range, motor output or a delivery timeline.
Listing pages often carry placeholder entries built from rumours and date guesses. Our rule is to wait for the manufacturer before treating a name or a price as real.
Where Today's Announcement Fits in Ultraviolette's Line-up
Ultraviolette's website currently lists four models as available to buy and two as pre-booking only. Here is the picture going into today.
| Model | Status on Ultraviolette's site | Figures we can point to |
| F77 Mach 2 | On sale | ₹2.99 lakh to ₹3.99 lakh, 211 km range, 155 km/h, 7.1 kWh battery |
| F77 SuperStreet | On sale | Homepage strip (shown under SuperStreet branding): 231 km WMTC range, 30 kW, 100 Nm, 155 km/h |
| X-47 Crossover, including Desert Wing | On sale | 323 km IDC range, 40.2 hp, 145 km/h; ₹2.49 lakh to ₹4.59 lakh across variants, per reports |
| Tesseract scooter | Pre-booking, listed for Q1 2027 | Announced from ₹1.45 lakh, 20.1 bhp, per reports |
| Shockwave | Pre-booking, listed for Q1 2027 | Announced at ₹1.75 lakh, 165 km range, 120 km/h, per reports |
Reports say Ultraviolette has confirmed the Shockwave will use a new 100V architecture for its Q1 2027 launch. Since the website still lists both the Tesseract and the Shockwave as Q1 2027, today's event looks unlikely to be the on-sale launch of either. That is our reading, not something Ultraviolette has said.
The company's recent news flow points toward scale and new platforms. It announced an $85 million funding round in September 2026 and said it is targeting US entry in 2027, with part of the money going toward next-generation global EV platforms.
What to Watch For at the Event
If you are following the stream, these are the details that will tell you what today actually is.
- Vehicle type and name. Motorcycle, scooter or platform, and whether "Venom" appears anywhere in the official material.
- Price and whether it is a launch. A teaser-to-price jump on the same day would put it in the same category as the X-47 launch. An unveil without a price would not.
- Battery architecture and range. Ultraviolette says it has in-house capability across 48V to 400V battery architectures, so the voltage and pack size will say a lot about where the new product sits.
- Ownership model. The X-47 already offers Battery Flex, a battery-as-a-service plan that starts at ₹1.49 lakh plus ₹2,499 a month, per reports. If the new product has a BaaS option, the upfront price will not tell the full story.
- Pre-booking and delivery dates. Especially any change to the Q1 2027 timelines for the Tesseract and Shockwave.
If you are about to buy an X-47 or F77: a sensible approach is to hold off on any token payment until the stream ends. Pricing and variant news from the same day could change which model makes sense. If your purchase is not close, there is no need to wait on today's announcement alone.
Evfy's Take
The wording of the teaser is about the industry, not about a single bike. Both lines of copy talk about scale ("a defining leap for UV", "a quantum shift for the industry"). In our experience, a claim pitched at the whole industry usually points to technology, pricing or an ownership model rather than a new colour or variant.
So there are three plausible outcomes, and this is our own reading, not an Ultraviolette statement: a new model from its published roadmap, a technology or platform announcement, or a change in how its vehicles are priced and owned.
The price estimates also fail a simple sanity check against the current line-up. At ₹4.70 lakh, the "X47 Venom" would sit above every model on sale, including the X-47 Desert Wing at ₹4.59 lakh and the F77 Mach 2 Recon at ₹3.99 lakh. At ₹2.60 lakh, it would sit just ₹4,000 below the X-47 Original at ₹2.64 lakh (per reports), which would be a very thin gap for a new model. Neither number looks settled to us, and we would not repeat either until Ultraviolette does.
