Hero MotoCorp has been upping its game in the electric scooter segment with the introduction of BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) for their latest e-scooter, the Vida VX2.
With the BaaS plan, the Vida VX2 starts from Rs. 59,490 (Ex-showroom) with Rs. 0.96 per km, which has shaken the EV world and the two-wheeler market completely. Now, Hero has taken off a whole Rs. 15,000 off the price tag, significantly increasing its desirability with its audience.
Hero Vida VX2 Price Cut
Hero became the first two-wheeler OEM in India to introduce the BaaS prices in its truest sense with the launch of the Vida VX2 on 2nd July, 2025. The starting price of the Vida VX2 was Rs. 59,490 with BaaS at Rs. 0.96 per km, which was already a groundbreaking proposition.
Now, the company has revised the prices with an introductory offer, taking the price down to Rs. 44,490 + battery rental charges. This is a whole Rs. 15,000 reduction, taking the initial proposition to a whole new level of tempting.
This tempting price tag is for the base Go variant, while the top-spec Plus variant has been priced at Rs. 57,990 + battery rental charges. Without BaaS plans, Vida VX2 Go costs Rs. 99,490 (Ex-showroom) and Plus costs Rs. 1.10 lakh (Ex-showroom).

Limited Time Offer
It is worthy to note that Hero has not mentioned any duration for this introductory offer. The prices may revert back to the original ones at the company’s discretion. Usually, such offers are valid till the company achieves certain booking milestones, perhaps this time in the six-figures which will mark the end of this offer.
So, if you were planning on buying the Vida VX2, then this is the best time to seriously consider it. Under BaaS, the Vida VX2 is currently the cheapest e-scooter in all of India. This is an unmissable offer for those interested.
