It was also spied testing in India, and now an official launch timeline has been revealed. Limo Green will be Vinfast’s third electric offering in India, and its first 7-seater.Vinfast Limo Green Launch TimelineVinfast Asia Chief Executive Officer Pham Sanh Chau has officially confirmed the third Vinfast product for India will be the Limo Green and it will be launched around February . In Vietnam, the Limo Green is positioned as a commercial vehicle, mainly used by taxi operators and corporate fleet services. However, in India, it will be in the same band as the VF series, making it a direct competitor in the electric 7-seater segment . When launched, it will compete with BYD eMAX 7, Kia Carens Clavis EV, and the newly launched Mahindra XEV 9S, potentially drawing attention and interest from large families seeking an additional option to consider.Vinfast also aims to step into India’s electric scooter segment and introduce its ride-hailing service Green and Smart Mobility (GSM) .Vinfast Limo Green — Design and DimensionsThe VinFast Limo Green adopts the brand’s recognizable styling cues , including V-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs) at both the front and rear . The clean, streamlined profile is complemented by SUV-inspired elements such as lower body cladding, a black rear bumper, and a pronounced roof-mounted spoiler . The 18-inch alloy wheels enhance its stance, while aerodynamic shaping aims to maximize range efficiency. In terms of size, the Limo Green measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,728 mm in height, with a 2,840 mm wheelbase . These proportions make it larger than the VF6 and VF7 SUVs and position it close to the Toyota Innova Hycross in footprint. The 170 mm ground clearance allows for comfortable city and highway use, with occasional light rural road capability, although it might be increased for India just like they did for the VF6.The cabin is designed to maximize passenger capacity with a 2+3+2 seating arrangement . This layout skips luxury-oriented captain seats in favor of higher occupancy, making it well-suited for taxi fleets, shuttle services, and large households.Interior equipment highlights include:10.1-inch infotainment display with multimedia supportSingle-zone automatic climate controlVegan leather upholstery for a premium yet eco-friendly touchMultiple USB charging ports for passenger convenienceFour-speaker audio systemSafety is addressed through four airbags, ABS, and an electronic parking brake . Notably, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are absent, keeping the focus on affordability and practicality rather than premium features.Vinfast Limo Green — Battery and PerformanceThe Limo Green is powered by a single front-mounted electric motor delivering 204 hp and 280 Nm of torque . It is equipped with a 60.13 kWh battery pack, which provides a claimed 450 km range on the NEDC cycle. While real-world range is expected to be slightly lower, it still positions the MPV as a viable option for both urban and intercity use.DC fast charging capability of up to 80 kW allows the battery to charge from 10% to 70% in approximately 30 minutes , making it practical for fleet operators with high daily usage. The MPV also offers three driving modes — Eco, Comfort, and Sport — to cater to different driving preferences and conditions.
