Vietnamese EV maker VinFast is strengthening their presence in Indian Market by expanding its charging network. V-Green, the charging arm of VinFast's parent company Vingroup, has announced a strategic partnership with ChargeZone to develop a dedicated EV charging network across the country.

This collaboration aims to make EV ownership more convenient for future buyers. This comes at a time when the brand has already launched its three vehicles in India, namely VF6, VF7, VF MPV7. Moreover, in the future, VinFast has plans to expand in the country with their newer models and two-wheelers as well. Also, Vin group has plans to launch a new ride hailing services in India. To sustain all this, the brand is aiming to make up a charging ecosystem beforehand.

As part of the initial phase, 15 co-branded charging stations have already been installed and are operational. The companies have also revealed plans to add nearly 100 more charging stations over the next six months across major cities and key travel routes in India.

This is not the first infrastructure partnership for V-Green in India. The company has previously joined hands with HPCL and RoadGrid to expand charging facilities across the country, highlighting its long-term commitment to building a robust EV ecosystem.

Speaking on the announcement, Nguyen Nam Tien, CEO of V-Green, said, "By expanding reliable charging touchpoints for VinFast customers and the wider EV community, we aim to enable seamless mobility, accelerate EV adoption, and build greater confidence in sustainable transportation across the country."

"The co-branded charging network is designed to address one of the most important factors influencing EV adoption today: dependable and accessible charging infrastructure beyond the point of purchase. As EV adoption accelerates in India, partnerships like these will be critical in building charging networks that are dependable, accessible and integrated into the broader mobility ecosystem," Kartikey Hariyani, Founder & CEO, ChargeZone, said.
