BYD India has officially announced the prices for the updated 2025 Seal electric sedan. Bookings opened in March 2025, and now the full variant-wise pricing and upgrades are here.
2025 BYD Seal: updated prices
Prices for two variants have been hiked by ₹15,000.
- The Dynamic RWD (61.44kWh) variant stays at ₹41 lakh (ex-showroom).
- The Premium RWD (82.56kWh) variant now costs ₹45.70 lakh, compared to ₹45.55 lakh earlier.
- The Performance AWD (82.56kWh) variant is priced at ₹53.15 lakh, compared to ₹53 lakh earlier.

What’s new?
Compared to the 2024 model, the 2025 Seal brings several important upgrades:
- A new lightweight lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery with a claimed 15-year lifespan.
- A powered sunshade for the panoramic sunroof.
- Silver-plated glass canopy for improved insulation.

- Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay now available across all variants.
- An upgraded air-conditioning system featuring an air purifier for cleaner, cooler cabin air.
Variant-specific upgrades
- The Premium RWD variant now gets frequency-selective damping for better ride comfort.
- The Performance AWD variant receives the Disus-C adaptive suspension, offering more dynamic handling and smoother ride quality.
The BYD Seal continues to be BYD’s flagship EV offering in India, competing against rivals like the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. With these tech and comfort upgrades, the Seal becomes an even more attractive option for premium EV buyers looking in the ₹40–55 lakh price range.
