Mahindra is set to begin bookings for all battery variants of its highly anticipated XEV 9e and BE 6 electric SUVs starting February 14, 2025. The automaker has received an overwhelming response, leading to a structured production ramp-up with phased deliveries between March and August 2025.
Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e: Price and Variants
- BE 6: ₹18.90 - ₹26.90 lakh
- XEV 9e: ₹21.90 - ₹30.50 lakh
- Prices do not include charger and installation costs. Billing will be done with either of the 2 charger options at an additional cost of Rs. 50,000 for 7.2 kW or Rs. 75,000 for 11.2 kW charger.
With competitive pricing, Mahindra is positioning both SUVs as strong contenders in India’s premium EV segment.
Manufacturing and Investment Plans
Mahindra has committed ₹12,000 crore to its EV business, including a dedicated EV manufacturing facility in Chakan, Maharashtra. This plant will have an annual production capacity of 1.2 lakh units, ensuring steady supply to meet demand.
