Skoda has shared new sketches of the upcoming Peaq electric SUV, giving us a closer look at its interior before the official unveiling on June 23. The Peaq will be Skoda's biggest electric SUV yet and could also make its way to India in the future as a flagship EV.
Spacious 7-Seater Cabin
The sketches reveal a clean and modern cabin with seating for up to seven passengers. Skoda says the Peaq will offer a lounge-like experience, focusing on comfort and space for all occupants.
A large panoramic glass roof, wide windows and a neatly designed dashboard are expected to make the cabin feel airy and spacious. The SUV is also likely to offer ample room for passengers in all three rows.
First Skoda With A Vertical Touchscreen
One of the biggest highlights inside the Peaq is a large vertical infotainment touchscreen. This will be the first Skoda model to feature such a display.
Other visible elements include a compact digital instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel, wireless charging pads, a floating centre console and several storage spaces. Skoda has also confirmed that physical controls for key functions like climate control and volume adjustment will be retained.
Comfort-Focused Interior
The front seats feature sporty side bolsters for better support. Meanwhile, the front passenger seat will come with electric adjustment and an ottoman-style leg support, adding extra comfort on long journeys. Skoda says the cabin uses soft-touch materials along with durable surfaces that are easy to maintain.
Specifications
The Peaq is expected to be offered with two battery pack options: 63 kWh and 91 kWh. The smaller battery version is likely to use a rear-wheel-drive setup, while the larger battery could be paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system.
Depending on the variant, power output could go up to 299 hp, while the claimed driving range is expected to exceed 600 km on a single charge. Fast charging from 10 to 80 % could take less than 30 minutes.
Launch Timeline
Skoda will reveal the Peaq in full on June 23. More details about its features, specifications and global market plans will be announced at the launch event.
