Suzuki e-Access Review: Old Soul, Electric Heart!
Suzuki’s beloved Access gets a spark of the future with the all-new e-Access, and guess what? It retains everything Indians love about the petrol version: only now, it's cleaner, quieter, and smarter.
Design and feel
Familiar Access styling means it feels like your trusted scooter, but now with subtle EV touches. It doesn’t scream ELECTRIC, but it does whisper ELEGANCE. Sticks to it’s Timeless Sophistication design concept.
The Suzuki e-Access comes in three dual color options, i.e Metallic Mat Black/Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, Pearl Grace white/ Metallic Mat Fibrion Gray and Pearl Jade Green/Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray.

Performance
Suzuki keeps it simple yet sharp. The 4.1 kw motor gives a zippy, linear acceleration enough for daily commutes without feeling underpowered. It has an output of 15 Nm torque ideal for all sorts of Urban or rural requirements and is smooth, predictable, and easy to adapt to. Maintains low NVH levels.

Battery & Range
Comes with a fixed 3.072kWh LFP battery promising 95km real-world range. No removable pack, but it's a trade-off for better balance. The range is surely not sufficient considering it’s competitors. The battery is mated to a motor churning 4.1kW and 15 Nm of torque ideal for all sorts of Urban or rural requirements.
Practicality and Utility
The Suzuki e-Access packs everyday practicality with thoughtful touches like Keyless system with answer-back function for convenience, Multi-function starter switch unlocks the charging inlet and underseat storage, Front inner pocket + dual utility hooks for your daily carry, USB charging port (illuminated!) to keep your phone juiced up, Rear brake lock, centre + side stand. Small details, big ease.
It’s not overloaded with tech, but it covers all the real-world essentials.
SAFETY
Built Safe. Tested Tough: LFP Battery Tech. Safer chemistry, lower failure risk. It has been Rigorously tested for Partial submersion, Extreme hot/cold temps, Drops, vibration, crush & puncture. The Tip-Over Detection – Cuts power automatically if the scooter tilts beyond 65°, preventing accidents.
Suzuki ensures peace of mind with safety that’s more than skin-deep.

Tech Check
Multi-information instrumental panel with 4.2-inch TFT LCD Display comes with Day and Night mode. The LCD readouts includes all the required data. No fancy stuff but keeps things refreshingly fuss-free and basic.
Smartphone connectivity with Suzuki Ride Connect app can be used for Navigation,Notifications, Weather and alerts in addition to Last parked location, Energy consumption, Trip data, Vehicle info, Service data and Digital wallet.

Charging options and facilities

Suzuki is committed to upgrade their 1150+ showrooms across the country by the end of the year. The Suzuki Fast Charger will provide AC charging output upto 3.3 kW and DC charging output up to 8.5 kW.
The Suzuki DC Fast charger will take 2 hours 12 mins to charge from 0-100% and 1 hours 12 mins to charger from 0-80%.

Ride Quality, Handling and Riding modes
Lightweight & Nimble: Glides through traffic, stays stable even near top speed (71 km/h in Mode A & B). The Suspension Soaks up bumps and handles tight turns with ease.
Comes with Three Riding Modes:
- Eco – Max efficiency, high regen.
- Mode A – Balanced ride, high regen.
- Mode B – Zippier feel, low regen.
Smooth, well-balanced, and commuter-friendly—this is riding made easy.

Price expectations, verdict
The Suzuki e-Access gets the basics right: solid build, reliable battery, and clean execution. But without standout features or bold styling, it lacks the “wow” factor.
If you're looking for your first EV scooter and want no drama, just dependable performance, the e-Access might be your perfect plug-in partner.
Its success will heavily depend on pricing. Price it right, and it could win over loyalists. Miss the mark, and it may fade into the crowd of more feature-packed rivals.
Pros:
- Fit and Finish
- Reliable and Trustable
- Great balance and agile ride
- No-nonsense e-Scooter India needs
Cons:
- Less Boot space
- Less Range compared to rivals
- The display could have been better
