Hyundai has just launched new feature loaded variants of the Creta Electric, expanding the variant lineup to incorporate variety and versatility. These new variants are expected to increase the desirability of the Creta Electric with attractive range, and a car-full of new features and comforts. Lets check it out.
Creta Electric New Variant — 42 kWh Battery Pack
The Creta Electric is the electric version of the highly popular Hyundai Creta. The company has now expanded their current lineup by introducing new variants in both 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs.

Previously, the company only offered the 42 kWh battery pack variants in Exclusive, Smart, Smart (O) and Premium trim levels but have now expanded the lineup by introducing the Executive, Executive Tech, Premium, Premium HC, Excellence, Excellence HC in their portfolio. For the first time, the top-spec Excellence trim is being offered with 42 kWh battery pack, which is great for buyers who want all the features but don’t need the extended range.
Additionally, the 42 kWh battery trims of Smart and Smart (O) have been discontinued.
Prices for the 42 kWh battery pack now start from ₹18.02 Lakh and goes up till ₹22.03 Lakh (ex-showroom). The 42 kWh battery pack now offers a range of 420 km in a single charge.

New Creta Electric 51.4 kWh Variants
Previously, the 51.4 kWh battery pack only came in two trims, the Smart (O) and Excellence. Now, the lineup has been expanded to include Executive (O), Smart (O), Smart (O) HC, Excellence, and Excellence HC. For the first time, Executive trim has been offered with the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack to cater to buyers who need the longer range but not the extra features.
No trims have been removed from this lineup.
Prices for the 51.4 kWh battery pack now start from ₹20 Lakh and goes up till ₹24.40 Lakh (ex-showroom). The 51.4 kWh battery pack now offers a range of 510 km in a single charge.

Added Features and Colors
Along with the introduction of more trims for the Hyundai Creta, the EV also gets new features and creature comforts to make it a better proposition in the ever-growing EV market. The company is now adding wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via a Wired to Wireless adapter as standard across all variants. Top-spec variants will now get additional features in the form of a dashcam and rear wireless charging pad.
In terms of creature comforts, Hyundai is now offering leatherette seats, an 8-way electrically powered drivers seat and ventilated front seats in the Premium trim. Not just features, but the color palette has been updates as well, with the addition of a new Matter Black and Shadow Grey color options.
