Kia is offering benefits of up to ₹75,000 on the Carens Clavis EV in October 2026, made up of ₹20,000 each as exchange, loyalty and scrappage benefits plus a corporate offer of up to ₹15,000. The petrol and diesel Carens Clavis (excluding CNG) gets up to ₹95,000, and the Clavis CNG gets ₹40,000. The Clavis EV has no cash discount this month. Figures are as of 5 October 2026, apply to all trims, and vary by city, stock and eligibility, so confirm the final numbers with your Kia dealer.
Kia Carens Clavis EV October 2026 offers
The Clavis EV is Kia's first made-in-India electric vehicle. It comes with two battery packs: a 42 kWh pack with a claimed 404 km range and a 51.4 kWh pack with a claimed 490 km range. Both support 100 kW DC fast charging, which takes the battery from 10% to 80% in about 39 minutes. Ex-showroom prices run from ₹18.04 lakh to ₹25.00 lakh.
Here is what Kia is offering on the electric MPV in October 2026:
| Benefit | Amount (all trims) |
| Cash discount | None listed |
| Exchange benefit | ₹20,000 |
| Loyalty benefit | ₹20,000 |
| Scrappage benefit | ₹20,000 |
| Corporate benefit | Up to ₹15,000 |
| Headline total | Up to ₹75,000 |
At the headline figure, the entry-level Clavis EV works out to an effective ₹17.29 lakh ex-showroom (₹18.04 lakh minus ₹75,000). That is Evfy's arithmetic, and it assumes you qualify for every benefit on the sheet.
What each benefit means for you
Kia has not published the fine print for these benefits. The notes below describe how such benefits typically work in India, so treat them as a guide and not as Kia's confirmed terms.
- Exchange benefit: Paid when you trade in an existing car at the dealership. The old car's valuation is separate from this bonus.
- Scrappage benefit: Usually tied to scrapping an old vehicle at a registered scrapping facility and producing the certificate issued for it.
- Loyalty benefit: Usually meant for existing Kia owners. Expect to show proof of ownership.
- Corporate benefit: Usually meant for employees of companies on the dealer's corporate list. The "up to ₹15,000" wording means the amount can be lower.
Ask the dealer which benefits apply to you, in writing, before you pay a booking amount.
Clavis EV vs Clavis ICE vs Clavis CNG: offer comparison
The petrol, turbo-petrol and diesel Carens Clavis gets a bigger package than the EV. The CNG version gets the smallest.
| Benefit | Clavis EV | Clavis ICE (excluding CNG) | Clavis CNG |
| Cash discount | None listed | ₹10,000 | None listed |
| Exchange benefit | ₹20,000 | ₹30,000 | None listed |
| Loyalty benefit | ₹20,000 | ₹20,000 | ₹20,000 |
| Scrappage benefit | ₹20,000 | ₹20,000 | ₹20,000 |
| Corporate benefit | Up to ₹15,000 | Up to ₹15,000 | None listed |
| Headline total | ₹75,000 | ₹95,000 | ₹40,000 |
| Total if exchange and scrappage cannot be combined (Evfy's reading) | ₹55,000 | ₹75,000 | ₹40,000 |
| Ex-showroom price range | ₹18.04 lakh to ₹25.00 lakh | ₹11.39 lakh to ₹21.79 lakh (full Clavis range) | Not separately confirmed |
The ICE Clavis is sold in six-seat and seven-seat layouts with naturally aspirated petrol, turbo-petrol and diesel engines. The EV sits roughly ₹6.65 lakh above the ICE Clavis at the entry point (₹18.04 lakh against ₹11.39 lakh), so the larger ICE discount widens the gap slightly.
How long the offers last and who qualifies
Kia's offers run as a monthly programme. The October 2026 sheet carries no published end date in the reports we reviewed, so we cannot give you a confirmed last day. Offers are also subject to stock availability and can differ by city and dealership.
Two details worth knowing:
- The reports list the offer at the model level for all trims, not variant by variant. They do not say whether it applies to older model-year stock or only to current stock.
- We could not confirm whether the offer applies to Clavis EVs booked under Kia's Battery-as-a-Service plan, which charges ₹3.3 per km for the battery. Ask the dealer.
How the Clavis EV offer compares with the last two months
The headline figure rose from ₹55,000 in August and September to ₹75,000 in October. The components tell a more careful story:
| Month | Reported Clavis EV benefits | Headline total |
| August 2026 | Loyalty, corporate, and exchange or scrappage | Up to ₹55,000 |
| September 2026 | ₹20,000 loyalty, up to ₹15,000 corporate, ₹20,000 exchange or scrappage | Up to ₹55,000 |
| October 2026 | ₹20,000 exchange, ₹20,000 loyalty, ₹20,000 scrappage, up to ₹15,000 corporate | Up to ₹75,000 |
In September the exchange and scrappage benefit was described as one ₹20,000 item, either one or the other. In October the two are listed as separate lines.

Clavis EV vs VinFast VF MPV 7 vs BYD eMAX 7
Reports place the Clavis EV against two three-row electric MPVs. We have not verified October offers on either rival, so the table covers price and specifications only.
| Kia Carens Clavis EV | VinFast VF MPV 7 | BYD eMAX 7 | |
| Ex-showroom price | ₹18.04 lakh to ₹25.00 lakh | ₹24.49 lakh (single variant) | From ₹26.90 lakh (reported) |
| Battery | 42 kWh or 51.4 kWh | 60.13 kWh | Up to 71.8 kWh (reported) |
| Claimed range | 404 km or 490 km | 517 km | Up to 530 km (reported) |
| Max DC fast charging | 100 kW | 80 kW | Not confirmed here |
| October 2026 offer | Up to ₹75,000 | Not verified | Not verified |
The Clavis EV is the cheapest of the three at the entry point by a wide margin. Its two cheaper battery options are the reason, and the 42 kWh pack's 404 km claimed range is the trade-off.
Should you buy the Clavis EV this month?
Buy now if you have a car to trade in or scrap, you already own a Kia, or your employer is on Kia's corporate list. Each of those adds a ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 slice of the package, and the EV has no cash discount to fall back on. If you qualify for none of them, the offer is close to zero for you.
Think twice if you were counting on a flat cash discount. The ICE Clavis has ₹10,000 in cash. The EV has none.
Compare before you sign if you are choosing between the EV and the ICE Clavis on running cost. The ICE offer is larger in rupees and as a share of price, but the EV's lifetime battery warranty is a separate value that the discount sheet does not show.
Quick pros and cons for the Clavis EV this month:
- Pros: Up to ₹75,000 headline benefit, lifetime battery warranty for first private owners of units retailed from 1 August 2026, entry price well below the VF MPV 7 and eMAX 7.
- Cons: No cash discount, benefits depend on eligibility, no published end date, and the ICE version gets more support.
Evfy's Take
All figures below are Evfy's own arithmetic on published offer data, not numbers stated by Kia.
1. The jump from ₹55,000 to ₹75,000 is probably a presentation change, not a bigger deal. September's sheet counted exchange or scrappage as a single ₹20,000 line. October lists both. If a buyer can claim only one, the real maximum stays at ₹55,000, the same as the last two months. The same logic trims the ICE Clavis from ₹95,000 to ₹75,000. Kia has not said either way, so ask your dealer whether both can be claimed together.
2. The EV discount is a small slice of its price. At the headline figure, ₹75,000 is about 4.2% of the ₹18.04 lakh entry price. At ₹55,000 it is about 3.0%. For the ICE Clavis, ₹95,000 is about 8.3% of the ₹11.39 lakh entry price. Kia is supporting its petrol and diesel MPV more heavily than its electric one.
3. Kia is not discounting EVs to move volume. Kia's EV registrations were 1,263 units in September 2026, up 111% year on year and 48% on August. With demand rising, the Clavis EV's offer sits flat, and the Syros EV gets only a ₹20,000 scrappage benefit in October. Compare that with Tata's October EV schedule, which tops out at ₹3.35 lakh on the Curvv EV and ₹2.75 lakh on the Harrier EV.
4. The warranty is the stronger sweetener. A buyer who takes delivery this month gets the 15-year, unlimited-km battery warranty automatically, with no ₹3,400 upgrade fee and no dealership evaluation. That is worth far more over ownership than the one-time benefits on the sheet.
