Mahindra has officially started deliveries of its new electric SUVs, BE 6 and XEV 9e, in India. The company has received 30,179 bookings for these models, amounting to ₹8,472 crore in value. The XEV 9e is the more popular choice, accounting for 56% of the bookings, while the BE 6 holds a 44% share.
Range and battery
- BE 6: Offers up to 535 km range with a 59 kWh battery and 682 km with a 79 kWh variant.
- XEV 9e: Provides 542 km range with a smaller battery pack and 656 km with the larger one.
- Charging: Both models support DC fast charging (175 kW), charging 20-80% in 20 minutes.
Performance and driving features
- 59 kWh battery: 230 bhp power, 380 Nm torque.
- 79 kWh battery: 285 bhp power, 380 Nm torque.
Rear-wheel drive only with Range, Everyday, Race, Boost, and One-Pedal modes.
Pricing
- BE 6: ₹18.90 lakh - ₹26.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
- XEV 9e: ₹21.90 lakh - ₹30.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
