MG Motor India has hit a major milestone with the launch of the MG Windsor EV Pro, registering over 15,000 bookings within a single day. The strong response confirms MG’s rising dominance in India’s electric vehicle space, positioning the Windsor EV Pro as a serious contender in the mid-size electric SUV segment.

MG Windsor EV Pro price and BaaS model

The introductory price for the Windsor EV Pro stands at ₹17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 8,000 customers, a premium of ₹1.35 lakh over the regular Windsor Essence variant.

For more affordability, MG also offers a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, pricing the vehicle at ₹12.49 lakh, with a pay-per-kilometre rate of ₹4.50. In comparison, the standard Windsor EV BaaS option charges ₹3.99/km.

MG Windsor EV Pro range & battery

One of the key upgrades is a larger 52.9kWh battery pack using prismatic cells, offering an impressive MIDC-certified range of 449 km. In real-world driving conditions, the estimated range falls between 390 to 420 km, depending on usage patterns.

The Windsor EV Pro takes the already feature-rich Essence variant and adds:

  • Level-2 ADAS (includes Forward Collision Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control)
