The EV startup has unveiled its new electric scooter, Numeros N-First, at an introductory price of ₹64,999 (ex-showroom). This new model aims to bridge the gap between the comfort of scooters and the performance of motorcycles, appealing to India’s growing base of young, urban riders.The N-First is the second electric vehicle from Numeros Motors and represents a refined approach to affordable and practical electric mobility. The company is positioning it as a reliable, stylish, and accessible EV option for daily commuters—particularly targeting the urban youth and women riders.Variants, Colours, and PricingThe N-First has been introduced in five variants and two colour options, although only three variants are currently listed—Max, i-Max, and i-Max+. The available colour options are Traffic Red and Pure White, offering a clean and dynamic aesthetic.The base and mid-spec variants, Max and i-Max, come equipped with a 2.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which delivers an IDC-rated range of 91 km on a full charge. The top-spec i-Max+ variant features a larger 3.0 kWh battery, extending the range up to 109 km per charge.Charging the scooter takes between 5–6 hours for the 2.5 kWh battery and 7–8 hours for the 3.0 kWh unit to reach 100% state of charge.Performance and HardwarePowering the Numeros N-First is a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) mid-mounted unit connected via a chain drive to the rear wheel. The setup delivers 2.5 kW of peak power and 34 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 70 kmph.One of the most distinctive features of the N-First is its large 16-inch alloy wheels, a rarity in India’s electric scooter segment. These wheels provide enhanced stability and comfort, mimicking the ride quality of motorcycles while retaining the practicality and ease of use that scooters are known for. The scooter also boasts an impressive ground clearance of 159 mm, making it suitable for varied Indian road conditions.Features and TechnologyThe Numeros N-First comes loaded with smart connectivity and practical design elements.
