What’s New in the MoveOS 5 Update?

  • A new DIY Mode allows riders to customize their vehicle’s top speed, power output, throttle response, and regen braking settings, offering a tailored ride experience for every user.
  • Road-Trip Mode supports real-time group coordination, multi-stop route planning, and emergency alert features, making long-distance travel more connected and safer.
  • The Easy Park feature offers low-speed maneuvering support — limited to 4 km/h — both forward and reverse, using throttle direction to control movement, simplifying parking in tight spots.
  • Live Location Sharing: Riders can share their location with up to five contacts for a chosen duration via the vehicle interface or mobile app.
  • SOS Alerts: In emergencies, the system sends alerts and real-time location data to pre-set contacts.
  • Find My Vehicle: Helps locate parked vehicles using lights and sound, triggered through the Ola app.
  • A new Notification Centre displays select app alerts, including WhatsApp messages, directly on the vehicle's display. Riders can customize visibility settings for a distraction-free ride.
