Maruti Suzuki has announced its first price hike for the e Vitara, increasing prices of select variants of the electric SUV. The latest update sees the EV become costlier by up to Rs 30,000, depending on the variant chosen.

The price hike comes just months after the e Vitara's launch in India and affects the mid and top-spec trims, while the entry-level version remains unaffected.

As part of the latest revision, the base Delta variant remains priced at Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable variant in the lineup.

The biggest increase has been applied to the Zeta variant, which now costs Rs 30,000 more than before. Meanwhile, the range-topping Alpha and Alpha Dual Tone trims have witnessed a price increase of Rs 20,000 each.

With the revised pricing in effect, the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara now costs between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 20.21 lakh (ex-showroom).

What's On Offer?

The e Vitara is Maruti Suzuki's first electric SUV and comes with a choice of two battery packs:

  • 48.8 kWh battery pack: claimed range of up to 440 km
  • 61.1 kWh battery pack: claimed range of up to 543 km
  • Both versions use a front-wheel-drive electric motor

The electric SUV is offered in three variants:

  • Delta
  • Zeta
  • Alpha

Buyers can also choose from 10 exterior colour options, including several dual-tone shades with a contrasting black roof.
