Traditional Yet Futuristic
Guided by the mantra "The G must be a G," the G580 upholds its legendary capabilities. Its electric powertrain seamlessly integrated within the rugged G-Class framework ensures uncompromised performance on any adventure.

Powered by four electric motors and a robust lithium-ion battery, the G580 delivers an astounding 579 horsepower and 859 lb-ft of torque. Its rapid acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and an EPA-rated range of 240 miles per charge exemplify its prowess.
Charging is a breeze with the ability to reach 80% capacity in just 32 minutes on a DC fast charger. Plus, its waterproof and torsion-resistant casing ensures durability, enabling the G580 to wade through water depths of up to 33.5 inches.
The 3 Gs
The powertrain can rotate the wheels on each side of the vehicle in opposite directions, executing the evergreen tank turn, or "G Turn," as Mercedes likes to call it, which can rotate the G580 up to 360 degrees to the left or right, with a maximum of two rotations.
When it comes to G Steering, it slows the inner rear wheel while speeding up the outer rear wheel, minimizing the turning radius on narrow trails. Similar to G Turn, G Steering is exclusive to low range, with Rock mode.
Last but not the least, the iconic G-roar makes a hard-to-believe appearance, as the G580 introduces this typical G-class monstruous sound into the electric future
The Look-Book
While the G580 resembles other current G-Wagon models from afar, the standout difference lies in the front end, where an optional black panel grill is accentuated by an LED light band. The hood has been reshaped to accommodate the powertrain components, while rear fender vents create air curtains around the wheels. Standard fitment includes 18-inch aero-tuned alloy wheels with 265/60 tires, while the optional AMG Line package offers 20-inch wheels with 275/50 tires.
