JSW MG Motor India is set to introduce the MG Windsor PRO on 6th May, further strengthening its position in India’s electric vehicle space. Leaked images

Leaked images of the MG Windsor PRO have surfaced just ahead of the official launch, giving a quick glimpse of what’s new. At first glance, the overall exterior design remains largely unchanged, retaining the familiar shape and styling of the current Windsor. However, there’s one noticeable update, the “ADAS” badging on the rear, reconfirming the addition of advanced driver assistance features.

Inside, the cabin layout appears similar to the outgoing model, though minor enhancements are likely. While details are still under wraps, we expect MG to announce more interior upgrades (possibly in terms of software, UI, or subtle trim and material enhancements) at the official launch.

Level 2 ADAS Coming In

One of the most notable additions is the inclusion of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This feature-rich suite offers 12 intelligent functions designed to assist the driver and enhance overall road safety. It provides three types of alerts- audio, visual, and haptic, for maximum responsiveness.

Key ADAS features include:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Traffic Jam Assist
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Forward Collision Warning
  • Automatic Emergency Braking

With these capabilities, the Windsor PRO takes a big step toward semi-autonomous driving, making daily commutes and long drives both smarter and safer.

V2L and V2V

Beyond safety, the Windsor PRO also gets Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) technologies.

  • V2L allows you to power devices like laptops, camping equipment, or even household appliances directly from the car.
  • V2V lets you share charge with another compatible EV. A handy feature in emergency situations or road trips.

These additions position the Windsor PRO as not just a car, but a mobile energy hub.

What about other enhancements?

The standard MG Windsor already impressed Indian buyers by combining SUV practicality with sedan comfort. The PRO version retains all that’s loved, and adds:

  • A powered tailgate
  • New alloy wheels
  • Beige interior trim
  • A larger battery pack- A new 52.9 kWh battery pack, promising a longer range for everyday and outstation drives. Powered by a 136 PS PMS Motor with 200 Nm torque, the EV is built on MG’s Global Smart Electric Platform and features IP67-certified durability—making it efficient, powerful, and road-trip ready.
  • Enhanced tech and convenience features
  • A touch of modern styling to set it apart

All this, at an expected price range of ₹14 to ₹16 lakh (ex-showroom), makes the Windsor PRO a compelling new choice in the EV market.
