Skoda has recently revealed their entry level EV in the market. The Epiq happens to be the smallest and most affordable EV in the portfolio. The Epiq sits below Skoda’s larger electric models like the Elroq and Enyaq. While it is compact in size, the brand has focused on making it practical enough for everyday usage. By now you must wondering, what this EV has to bring to the table? Without delay let's get into the details.

The Skoda Epiq is a compact crossover that rides on the new MEB+ platform. While it follows the brand's new solid design language. At the front, it gets a gloss black treatment, replacing the Skoda's conventional grille, which is flanked by those T-shaped DRLs. From the side, the Epiq looks like a compact crossover with short overhangs, roof rails, and aero-focused 19-inch alloy wheels. The overall design is simple, but not boring. It carries the typical Skoda approach of looking understated while still feeling premium. Moving to the rear, the Epiq gets sharp T-shaped LED taillamps, Skoda lettering, and a clean tailgate design. It is worth noting that styling is not overly futuristic, which could work in its favour.

Talking about the numbers, the Epiq measures 4,171mm in length, 1,798mm in width, and 1,581mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 2,601mm. Skoda has also worked on improving the Epiq’s aerodynamics to boost efficiency. The electric SUV has a drag coefficient of 0.275, helped by features such as active cooling shutters, aero-optimised wheels, roof spoiler elements, air curtain channels, and a smoother underbody design.
