Bajaj has officially expanded its Chetak 35 family with a new, more affordable option, the Chetak 3503. Priced at ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), it now becomes the entry point into Bajaj’s vast electric scooter lineup.
What does the Chetak 3503 offer?
The Chetak 3503 shares the same updated frame as its siblings, the 3501 and 3502, but drops a few features to keep the costs low.
Here’s what you get and don’t:
- No front disc brake, uses a drum brake setup instead
- Circular color LCD cluster instead of the TFT screen
- Conventional physical key (no keyless go)
- No lockable glove box
Despite these cuts, the scooter still offers plenty of practical features. You get a 725 mm-long seat, an enhanced footboard area, and a massive 35-litre underseat storage, thanks to the new platform.
The Chetak 3503 will be available in four colors: Blue, Black, White, and Grey.
Battery, range, and charging
The Chetak 3503 is powered by the same 3.5 kWh battery mounted in the floorboard, offering a claimed range of up to 155 km on a full charge.
Charging is handled by an off-board charger that can charge the battery from 0 to 80% in about 3 hours and 25 minutes.
