Designed at Nissan’s Design Europe (NDE) in London, the All-New MICRA boasts a refreshed, distinctive exterior. It blends a premium finish and an assertive attitude with an SUV-like design, clean surfaces, and subtle details. Its robust stance comes from pronounced wheel arches and a distinctive lower lip, suggesting a low center of gravity, ready for city streets.

All grades will feature 18-inch wheels with "active" wheel covers, "Iconic," or "Sport" alloy designs, contributing to its strong road presence. Iconic headlamps greet the driver with a "welcome wink," pulsing lights upon unlocking. At the rear, simple yet ornate LED taillamps feature circular lighting elements. A unique 1cm deep "ice cream scoop" indent defines the waistline, adding a playful detail.

The All-New MICRA offers 14 exterior color combinations, including Pure White, Elegant Silver, Mystery Black, Noble Marine, Authentic Blue, and Rebel Red. Two-tone options, with a black or grey roof, allow for further personalization. Inside, the All-New MICRA embraces simple, understated elegance, a theme from previous generations. Subtle hints of Japanese heritage include a molded Mount Fuji outline in the storage space. The driver will appreciate the three-spoke wheel and a 10.1-inch configurable hi-resolution screen behind it. A second 10.1-inch touchscreen display in the center covers the dashboard's width, angled slightly towards the driver for seamless navigation, audio, and phone control.

Seat upholstery varies by grade, offering Modern, Audacious, and Chill trims for a premium feel. Adjustable ambient lighting allows drivers to choose from 48 different colors to match their mood.

Compact, Convenient, and Spacious

At under 4 meters long and less than 1.8 meters wide, the All-New MICRA is perfectly sized for urban environments. Its 2.54-meter wheelbase pushes wheels to the corners, improving interior space, dynamic stance, agility, and stability.

Available only in a five-door configuration, it ensures easy entry and exit. Front seat passengers will enjoy spacious luxury with supportive seats and soft-touch dashboard materials. Despite its compact size, the All-New MICRA excels in storage, offering 326 liters of trunk capacity (significantly more than competitors), expandable to 1106 liters with 40/60 foldable rear seats.

Pure EV Driving: Range and Fast Charging

The All-New MICRA is designed for worry-free EV driving, perfect for daily life. It comes with two battery options: 40kWh and 52kWh, providing significant power and range.

  • 40kWh: 90kW power, 225Nm torque, 310km range, 1400kg weight.
  • 52kWh: 110kW power, 245Nm torque, 408km real-world range, 1524kg weight.

The 52kWh battery's 408km range ensures drivers can escape to the country without range anxiety. For quick charging, the All-New MICRA offers excellent options: 15%-80% charge in a convenient 30 minutes using a 100kW DC charger (or 80kW for the 40kWh version). A heat pump and battery heating/cooling capabilities are standard on both battery options for maximum charging efficiency. Both versions also include V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology, allowing owners to power external devices.

Dynamic Performance and Customizable Drive

Complementing its smooth electric drive, the All-New MICRA is meticulously engineered for superior performance. Significantly lighter than many peers (1400kg / 1524kg), it offers increased efficiency, performance, and handling. Its low-sitting battery pack and advanced suspension (independent struts front, multi-link rear) deliver brilliant driving dynamics and best-in-class ride and handling. Drive characteristics can be tailored via a steering wheel switch, adjusting power, torque, throttle, steering, ambient lighting, and screen display. Modes include "comfort" (default balance), "sport" (full power, sharp throttle, increased steering), "eco" (optimizes efficiency), and "Perso" (customizable parameters).

Performance is further enhanced by regenerative braking, configurable via paddles, and Nissan’s e-Pedal system for effortless one-pedal urban driving, bringing the car to a complete stop. NissanConnect with Google built-in services allows voice-controlled calls, music streaming, trip planning, smart home device connection, and vehicle functions. It's the second Nissan Europe vehicle with Google built-in infotainment, standard with Google Maps and over-the-air updates.

In-Car Route Planning with Google Maps proposes charging stations if needed, considering range and battery pre-conditioning. Drivers can download apps from Google Play and use Google Assistant ("Hey Google") for hands-free control of HVAC, heated seats, navigation, and smart home devices. The NissanConnect services app offers off-board connectivity, providing remote access to battery status, car location, charging history, cabin temperature, and charging schedules. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard.
