Rolls-Royce has introduced the updated Spectre Series II, bringing a host of upgrades to its all-electric luxury coupe. The latest version benefits from a revised battery setup, offering better efficiency, increased performance and quicker charging times. Alongside the mechanical improvements, the British luxury carmaker has also expanded the customization options available through its Bespoke program.

New Battery Tech

The biggest changes in the Spectre Series II are found underneath the bodywork. The electric coupe now uses updated battery cell technology that improves energy density and thermal management. Thanks to these enhancements, both the standard Spectre and the high-performance Black Badge version deliver a noticeable increase in driving range.

The luxury EV continues to use a 112.4kWh battery pack, but the claimed range has now crossed the 620km mark. The standard model can travel up to 628km on a single charge, while the Black Badge variant offers a slightly higher range of 629km.

Charging has also become faster. Using a 22kW AC charger, a full charge now takes less time than before, making the Spectre more convenient for long-distance journeys.

Performance

Performance has also been improved across the lineup. The standard Spectre now produces 601hp and 1,015Nm of torque, making it more powerful than the outgoing version.

Meanwhile, the Spectre Black Badge continues to hold the title of the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built. In its performance-focused driving mode, it generates 680hp and 1,100Nm of torque. Like before, the electric coupe uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with one motor mounted on each axle.

New Personalisation Options

Rolls-Royce says the Spectre has become one of its most customised models, second only to the Phantom. To meet growing customer demand, the brand has introduced several new personalisation options.

The exterior now gets a fresh Ethereal Blue paint finish along with newly designed 23-inch alloy wheels. Buyers can choose between different wheel finishes, while Black Badge customers receive exclusive matte-finish exterior details, including a darkened version of the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy mascot.

Interior

Inside, Rolls-Royce has added new premium materials and handcrafted details. One of the highlights is a new bamboo-based fabric upholstery called Duality Twill, featuring intricate embroidery patterns inspired by the Rolls-Royce logo.

The company has also introduced laser-cut leather detailing, a redesigned illuminated dashboard panel with over 8,000 light points, a new aviation-inspired clock and a special wood veneer finish designed to create a sparkling effect under different lighting conditions.

The Spectre has quickly become a key model for the luxury marque. Rolls-Royce says the electric coupe is now its second best-selling vehicle globally, sitting just behind the Cullinan SUV. With the latest updates, Rolls Royce aims to further strengthen Spectre's position in the growing luxury EV segment.
