The 3rd Bharat Mobility Global Expo will run from 4 to 9 February 2027 in New Delhi. Official notices name two venues, Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi. The show is back on a biennial schedule, so there was no edition in 2026. The 2027 edition covers 16 focus sectors, from automobiles and batteries to air mobility and agri-mobility. Ticket prices, the public-day schedule and the exhibitor and launch list have not been announced yet.

Bharat Mobility Expo 2027 at a Glance

The dates were first announced in July 2025, and official Indian government notices circulated through mid-2026 repeat them. Here is the full picture in one place.

Venues: Two Named, One Open Question

The official notices we reviewed name Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan, central Delhi) and Yashobhoomi (Dwarka, west Delhi, near the airport).

The 2025 edition used three venues: those two plus India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. The 2027 notices do not list Greater Noida. That does not prove it is out, but we would not plan a trip around it until organisers say so.

The notices also do not say which days or which sectors sit at which venue. In 2025 the vehicle launches clustered at Bharat Mandapam, so we expect the same pattern, but that is an expectation, not a confirmation.

Focus Sectors for 2027

Official notices describe 16 focus sectors. The ones named include:

  • Automobiles and auto components
  • Batteries and electric mobility
  • Micro-mobility
  • Software and electronics
  • Steel and advanced materials
  • Tyres
  • Air mobility and agri-mobility
  • Metro and urban mobility
  • Start-ups, technology and innovation, and research organisations
  • State initiatives and investment opportunities

For EV readers, the useful detail is that batteries, micro-mobility and agri-mobility are named next to electric mobility. This is a supply-chain and technology show as much as a showroom one.

What Is Confirmed and What Is Not

Confirmed

  • Dates: 4 to 9 February 2027
  • City: New Delhi
  • Venues named: Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi
  • 16 focus sectors, including electric mobility, batteries and micro-mobility
  • Event contact listed as EEPC India, with details on the official event website (bharat-mobility.com)

Not confirmed yet

  • Ticket pricing and booking window
  • Which days are open to the public
  • Which venue hosts which sector on which day
  • Whether Greater Noida returns
  • Any brand-wise exhibitor list or EV launch line-up

If you see a specific car or scooter "confirmed" for the expo before the organisers or the brand say so, treat it as a report, not a fact.

Should You Plan Around It?

Plan now if you are an exhibitor, supplier, start-up founder or fleet buyer. Space and business meetings tend to be arranged well before the doors open.

Wait for the schedule if you are a visitor or enthusiast. With public days and tickets unannounced, booking flights or hotels for a specific day is a gamble. A flexible hold on 4 to 9 February is the sensible move.

Do not wait for it if you are about to buy an EV. An expo reveal is a signal about the next 12 to 24 months, not a reason to delay a purchase you need now.

Evfy's Take

The biennial gap matters more than the dates. With no expo in 2026, brands have had two years of product planning to feed into one stage. That should make 2027 a heavier reveal window for EVs, batteries and charging tech than a normal annual show.

Here is how we suggest reading what comes out of it:

  • Unveil is not launch. Look for a stated price, battery size, range figure and delivery date. A concept with none of those is a direction, not a product.
  • Check the powertrain claim. Several "EV" reveals at past shows turned out to be concepts or hybrids. Ask what is actually on sale and when.
  • Watch the components. Battery chemistry, charging and power electronics announcements often shape EV prices more than the car reveals do.
  • Plan your days by venue. Pragati Maidan and Dwarka are far apart in Delhi traffic. Once the schedule is out, avoid pairing both venues on the same day.
