Denza has released an official teaser of the Z9 GT electric shooting brake ahead of the brand's India debut on 13 November 2026. The short clip shows the car's LED headlamps and bootlid shape, a Boost Mode graphic and a Fjord Green paint shade. It does not show a price, a variant list or a sale date. Reports expect the Z9 GT at around ₹1.2 crore to ₹1.5 crore (ex-showroom), but that figure is an expectation, not a Denza announcement. Whether the car goes on sale in 2026 or in 2027 is also still unclear.
What The Teaser Shows
The clip is brief. Reports say the car is identifiable as the Z9 GT from three cues: the LED headlamp signature, the angled bootlid and a Boost Mode graphic. Boost Mode is a feature already offered on the international car, where it delivers a temporary surge of power during hard acceleration. The teaser also appears to show the Fjord Green colour, a deep green with a glossy finish.
| What the teaser appears to show | What it does not tell us |
| LED headlamps and bootlid shape of the Z9 GT | India-spec power, battery or range |
| A Boost Mode graphic | Whether Boost Mode is enabled on India cars |
| Fjord Green paint | Whether Fjord Green is offered in India, and what other colours exist |
| The 13 November India debut date | Price, bookings, variants or delivery dates |

Denza Z9 GT: Reported Specs (Global-Spec Figures)
Every figure below is a global-spec claim. Denza has not published India-spec numbers.
| Spec | Z9 GT (reported) |
| Body style | Five-door shooting brake, five seats |
| Motors and drive | Three motors (one front, two rear), all-wheel drive |
| Power | 1,156 hp (one report quotes 1,140 bhp) |
| Torque | 1,210 Nm |
| 0-100 km/h (claimed) | 2.7 seconds |
| Top speed (claimed) | 270 km/h |
| Range | About 600 km (WLTP) |
| Battery | 122.5 kWh on the top-spec global car |
| Charging (claimed) | Up to 1,500 kW peak; 10 to 70 per cent in about 5 minutes |
| Suspension and brakes | Adaptive dual-chamber air suspension at the rear, carbon-ceramic discs |
| Steering | Rear-wheel steering with "crab walk" and "Compass Turn 360" modes |
One report lists a 63.82 kWh battery for the Z9 GT. That figure does not match the 122.5 kWh pack cited for the top-spec car in other reports, so we have not used it. We will confirm the pack size once Denza shares India-spec data.
Cabin and equipment (global spec):
- A 17.3-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch driver display and a 13.2-inch passenger screen
- A 1,150 W, 20-speaker Devialet audio system
- Front seats with 8-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation, a 10-point massage function and active side bolsters
- Four-zone climate control, two 50 W wireless chargers and digital side mirrors
- Two onboard refrigerators
- Level 2+ ADAS, multiple airbags and a Vehicle Motion Control system that can help stabilise the car after a tyre burst at speeds of up to 180 km/h
Launch Timing: End-2026 Or 2027?
Reports do not agree. Earlier coverage said both Denza models would go on sale by the end of 2026. Newer coverage says the brand launches on 13 November, with the Z9 GT following in 2027, possibly around the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in February 2027. Denza has not announced a Z9 GT sale date. We will update this post once the company clarifies.
Rivals And Expected Price
| Model | Why reports compare it | Where the Z9 GT differs |
| Porsche Taycan | Closest performance-EV alternative | Z9 GT is a shooting brake with a larger cabin and a rear fridge |
| BMW i7 | Large luxury electric flagship | Z9 GT leans on performance and charging speed claims |
| Mercedes-Benz EQS | Large luxury electric flagship | Z9 GT has a shooting brake body, not a sedan or liftback |
Expected pricing is a range of about ₹1.2 crore to ₹1.5 crore. Treat it as a placeholder until Denza announces a number.
Should You Wait For The Z9 GT?
- Buying a luxury EV in the next few weeks: do not wait. No Z9 GT booking, price or delivery date exists yet.
- Planning a purchase for 2027: it is reasonable to watch the 13 November event, especially if you want a performance-focused electric shooting brake, a body style few brands offer here.
- Mainly curious about the technology: treat the Z9 GT as a halo car that shows what Denza can do, not as a volume seller.
Evfy's Take
A teaser is not a launch. The clip confirms the Z9 GT is part of Denza's India story. It does not confirm the car goes on sale on 13 November. Based on the conflicting reports, the date looks like a brand debut first, with the Z9 GT possibly shown as a showcase model.
The 1,500 kW figure needs context. The 5-minute, 10 to 70 per cent claim depends on a matching ultra-fast charger. We have not seen any announcement of chargers in that power class for India, so treat it as a global-spec claim. This is an Evfy note, not a Denza statement.
