Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M), has reaffirmed its position as India’s top electric commercial vehicle (EV) manufacturer for the fourth consecutive year in FY25, according to Vahan data from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
The company continues to dominate the market, playing a key role in electrification within the L5 category. EV penetration in this segment rose to 24.2% in FY25, up from 16.9% in FY24. MLMML’s L5 electric three-wheeler market share stands at 37.3%, maintaining its lead despite increasing competition.
Milestones and Market Dominance
MLMML has set new benchmarks in the EV sector, becoming the first company in India to sell over 2 lakh electric commercial vehicles. Its flagship model, Treo, has crossed 1 lakh units sold, solidifying its position as India’s No.1 electric auto.
The company operates with a nationwide network of 1,150+ touchpoints and serves over 1.4 million customers, reinforcing its industry leadership.
Expanding Product Portfolio: Entry into Four-Wheeler EVs
In FY25, MLMML expanded its lineup by introducing:
- A metal-body version of the Treo
- Mahindra ZEO – its first four-wheeler small commercial EV (SCV)
The ZEO marks MLMML’s entry into the four-wheeler cargo EV market, further strengthening its diverse product range, which already includes the Alfa and Jeeto series of fuel-efficient commercial vehicles.
