Royal Enfield has showcased its Flying Flea S6 electric scrambler at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy, bringing renewed attention to its upcoming electric motorcycle. The S6 is the second model under the company's dedicated Flying Flea electric motorcycle brand and is designed to offer a combination of urban usability and light off-road capability. The motorcycle was displayed in two colour options, Dart Yellow and Lightning Grey.

The latest showcase also provides a closer look at the S6's scrambler-inspired design, suspension setup and technology package. Royal Enfield has confirmed that the Flying Flea S6 is scheduled to launch in Summer 2027. However, the company has not yet announced its official price, battery capacity, motor output or claimed riding range.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6: Design And Styling

The Flying Flea S6 follows a scrambler-inspired design approach, with a lightweight structure and minimal bodywork. Unlike the road-focused Flying Flea C6, the S6 features a more rugged appearance intended to suit different riding environments.

At the front, the motorcycle gets a circular LED headlamp, a high-mounted front mudguard and an upright handlebar. Its slim body profile and long, narrow enduro-style seat give it a distinctive scrambler appearance. The motorcycle also features wire-spoke aluminium wheels with dual-purpose tyres.

Another important difference is its suspension setup. The Flying Flea S6 gets an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock, with longer suspension travel intended to improve comfort over uneven surfaces. The motorcycle also features a 19-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, giving it a setup suited to its scrambler positioning.

Royal Enfield has displayed the motorcycle in two colour options:

  • Dart Yellow

  • Lightning Grey

The battery is housed inside a finned magnesium casing, which is designed to help with weight management and heat dissipation.

Flying Flea S6: Motor, Performance And Riding Modes

Royal Enfield has equipped the Flying Flea S6 with a high-torque electric motor. However, the company has not disclosed its exact power output, torque figures or battery specifications at the latest showcase.

The motorcycle uses a twist-and-go throttle, which eliminates the need for conventional gear shifting. It also gets a bidirectional crawl function, allowing the rider to move the motorcycle slowly forwards or backwards when required.

One of the key highlights is its selection of six riding modes, including a dedicated off-road setting and a customisable mode. Riders can also adjust regenerative braking and traction control intervention according to their preferences.

For additional safety, the S6 gets lean-angle-sensitive ABS. The system also allows riders to switch off ABS on both wheels for off-road riding conditions.

These features give the S6 a different character from the Flying Flea C6, which is primarily designed around urban riding.

Technology And Features

The Flying Flea S6 also gets a technology-focused package. It features a 3.5-inch circular TFT touchscreen display powered by Royal Enfield's Fleaware.OS operating system.

The display supports navigation and connected vehicle functions. The motorcycle also offers smartphone and smartwatch connectivity, allowing owners to access selected vehicle information and remote functions.

Other technology highlights include:

  • Multiple riding modes, including an off-road mode

  • Adjustable regenerative braking

  • Adjustable traction control

  • Lean-angle-sensitive ABS

  • Full-LED lighting

  • Wireless phone charging

  • Digital vehicle access and connected features

The combination of riding assistance and connectivity reflects Royal Enfield's approach to developing its dedicated electric motorcycle platform.

Flying Flea S6 vs Flying Flea C6: Key Differences

The Flying Flea S6 and C6 belong to the same electric motorcycle family but target different riding requirements. While the C6 follows a neo-retro roadster design for urban commuting, the S6 gets scrambler styling and hardware intended for more varied road conditions.

The C6 is already available in India, with a 3.91 kWh battery, a 15.4 kW electric motor and a claimed IDC range of 154 km. However, these specifications should not be considered confirmed for the S6, as Royal Enfield has not announced its complete technical specifications.

The S6's inverted front suspension, wire-spoke wheels, dual-purpose tyres and chain drive distinguish it from the C6's girder-style front fork and belt-drive setup.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 Launch Timeline And Expected Price

Royal Enfield has confirmed that the Flying Flea S6 will launch in Summer 2027. This means buyers will have to wait for the next stage of the company's electric motorcycle expansion.

The company has not announced the motorcycle's India-specific launch date, bookings or showroom availability. Its battery capacity, claimed range, charging time and performance figures also remain undisclosed.

The Flying Flea C6 currently carries an ex-showroom price of ₹2.79 lakh in India, with a lower entry price available through its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership option. The S6's pricing has not been revealed, and it remains too early to establish its final positioning against the C6.

Evfy's Take

The Flying Flea S6 gives Royal Enfield's electric motorcycle portfolio a more versatile direction. Instead of focusing entirely on urban commuting, the company is bringing scrambler-inspired styling, longer suspension travel and off-road riding assistance to its electric lineup.

The most important details still missing are the battery capacity, real-world riding range and final price. These figures will play a major role in determining how competitive the S6 becomes in India's premium electric motorcycle segment.

With its Summer 2027 launch timeline now confirmed, the Flying Flea S6 will be an important model to watch as Royal Enfield continues expanding its electric motorcycle portfolio.
