VinFast India has cut the ex-showroom price of the VF MPV 7 by ₹4.10 lakh, from ₹24.49 lakh at its April 2026 launch to ₹20.39 lakh. The new price is listed on VinFast India's official website. The electric seven-seater stays a single, fully loaded variant with the same 60.13 kWh battery and 517 km ARAI-claimed range, so only the price changes. At ₹20.39 lakh, it now sits inside the price bands of the Kia Carens Clavis EV, Mahindra XEV 9S and MG Hector Tomahawk EV. VinFast hasn't announced a reason for the revision yet.
All prices in this post are ex-showroom and were checked on 4 November 2026. Confirm final prices with your dealer before booking.
What has changed on the VF MPV 7
The cut comes a little over six months after the launch on 15 April 2026. It works out to roughly 16.7% off the launch price. Nothing else has been announced as changing: equipment and mechanicals stay the same, and the VF MPV 7 continues as one variant.
| Launch price (April 2026) | Revised price (November 2026) | Difference | |
| VinFast VF MPV 7 (single variant) | ₹24.49 lakh | ₹20.39 lakh | ₹4.10 lakh lower |

Festive benefit: what has been reported
Dealers are reported to be promoting a separate festive benefit of ₹40,780 on top of the new price. If it applies in full, the effective starting price would be about ₹19.98 lakh (Evfy's calculation: ₹20,39,000 minus ₹40,780). This benefit is not part of the official ₹20.39 lakh listing, and its conditions are not announced yet.

How the new price compares with rivals
Because the VF MPV 7 comes in one fully loaded variant, the fairest comparison is against rivals' top trims. On that basis it now undercuts them by up to ₹9.76 lakh (Evfy's calculation against the XEV 9S's top variant at ₹30.15 lakh).
| Model | Ex-showroom price range | Variants |
| VinFast VF MPV 7 | ₹20.39 lakh | One (fully loaded) |
| Kia Carens Clavis EV | ₹18.04 lakh to ₹25 lakh | Multiple, 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh packs |
| Mahindra XEV 9S | ₹20.65 lakh to ₹30.15 lakh | Multiple, 59, 70 and 79 kWh packs |
| MG Hector Tomahawk EV | From ₹19.50 lakh | Multiple |
| BYD eMax 7 | ₹27.90 lakh to ₹29.90 lakh | Multiple, 6-seat and 7-seat layouts |
The Clavis EV still has the lowest entry price in this group. The VF MPV 7 now sits within its range, below the Clavis EV's top trims.

Who should look at it now
The VF MPV 7's strengths are unchanged: a 2,840 mm wheelbase, the longest among its mass-market three-row EV rivals, a spacious third row and a long ownership package. If cabin room and a long claimed range matter more to your family than a long feature list, it is now a stronger value proposition than it was in April. Buyers who want ADAS, a sunroof or ventilated seats should compare it against the Clavis EV and XEV 9S before booking.

Evfy's Take
Price per claimed kilometre is a quick way to see what the cut does. At the launch price, you paid about ₹4,737 for every claimed km of range (₹24.49 lakh divided by 517 km). At ₹20.39 lakh, that falls to about ₹3,944 per claimed km. Both figures are Evfy's own calculation from claimed ARAI range, not real-world range.
The cut also moves in a different direction from VinFast's earlier 2026 pricing. The brand raised VF 6 and VF 7 prices by roughly ₹80,000 to ₹1.30 lakh once their introductory pricing ended, while the VF MPV 7 has now gone the other way.

Practical tip for buyers: VinFast's buyback of up to 75% is a big part of the value pitch. Before you book, ask the dealer in writing whether the buyback value is calculated on the new ₹20.39 lakh price or the older ₹24.49 lakh figure. VinFast hasn't announced how the buyback maps to the revised price yet.
